Job Description:
Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a teamof engineers and researchers, fostering a collaborative and creative working environment.
Product Development: Lead the development and enhancement of new and existing products, from ideation through to production.
Budget and Resource Management: Develop and manage the R&D budget, allocate resources efficiently, and ensure projects receive necessary funding and support.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, sales, marketing, and customer support to ensure alignment and successful product launches.
Compliance and Safety: Ensure all research activities comply with industry regulations and safety standards.
Reporting: Prepare and present detailed project reports, findings, and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.
Continuous Improvement: Promote best practices and continuous improvement initiatives within the R&D department.
Years Of Experience: 10 Years
Qualifications & General Requirement:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering. A Ph.D. will be a plus. Minimum of 10 years of experience in R&D, preferably in the fabrication and machine manufacturing industry. Proven experience in managing and leading a technical team. Strong knowledge of fabrication processes, machine manufacturing, and relevant software/tools. Excellent project management skills with a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and effectively. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities to address technical challenges and identify innovative solutions. Naturally curious and open to new ideas and technologies. Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Highly self-motivated with a strong work ethic and a desire to achieve excellence.
