Job Description:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities in Railways, Metros, High Speed Rail.
Conduct market research to identify potential clients, emerging trends, and competitive landscape.
Develop and implement strategies to grow the customer base and market share.
Create and execute a comprehensive sales plan to meet and exceed revenue targets.
Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to potential clients.
Negotiate contracts and close deals with clients.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
Provide exceptional customer service and support to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
Act as a primary point of contact for clients, addressing any issues or concerns promptly.
Work closely with engineering and product development teams to understand product offerings and capabilities.
Collaborate with marketing to develop promotional materials and campaigns.
Track and report on sales performance metrics and KPIs.
Prepare regular sales forecasts and progress reports for senior management.
Analyze sales data to identify areas for improvement and growth opportunities.

Qualifications & General Requirement:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration.
Experience in sales and business development, preferably within the engineering industry.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. Strong understanding of engineering products and services.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Strategic thinker with the ability to identify and capitalize on growth opportunities.
Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to travel as needed. Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive sales initiatives.
Strong analytical skills to assess market trends, sales data, and performance metrics.
Skilled negotiator with experience in contract management.
