Roles and responsibilities:
1. Legal Counsel:
Provide expert legal advice and counsel on a wide range of legal matters, including contracts,
agreements, intellectual property, employment, and compliance.
Review and negotiate vario us contracts and agreements with clients, vendors, and partners, safeguarding
the companys interests.
Conduct legal research to stay informed on relevant legal developments and industry best practices.
Manage and coordinate external legal counsel for specialized legal matters and litigation cases, when
required.
Assess potential legal risks and liabilities and develop strategies to mitigate them.
2. Policy Development:
Contribute to the development and implementation of corporate policies and procedures related to legal
matters.
Advise management on the legal implications of business decisions and potential policy changes.
3. Team Leadership and Development:
Lead and mentor a team of legal professionals, fostering a collaborative and supportive work
environment.
Provide ongoing guidance, training, and professional development opportunities for team members.
Educational requirement:
LLB
Commerce Background Preferred
Relevant Experience: 3-5 Yrs.
Management skills:
Team Handling Experience (Desired -
Not Mandatory)
Interaction with senior management
Technical skills:
Experience of statutory compliance.
Proven experience as a Legal Counsel in a reputable organization.
Excellent knowledge of corporate governance, legal regulations practices.
Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to communicate complex legal matters effectively to non-legal stakeholders.
Demonstrated leadership abilities and experience in managing teams.
High level of integrity, confidentiality, and ethical conduct.
Good command over MS-excel and power point presentation.
